Drawing on extensive experience in international relations, we provide strategic analysis on the use of international trade agreements and the benefits they offer, and we monitor the multilateral and bilateral negotiations relevant to each sector (trade and double-taxation agreements).
Trade defense
We also specialize in trade defense: the set of instruments provided for in World Trade Organization agreements and incorporated into Brazilian law to protect domestic industry against unfair trade practices. We carry out economic and legal studies and advise on anti-dumping, countervailing, anti-circumvention and safeguard measures, as well as petitions to apply, remove or change the administrative treatment of imported products.
Competitiveness instruments
We analyze changes to import tax rates through the mechanisms provided by law (the Exception List to the Common External Tariff, Resolution 08/08 and permanent changes) and assist with qualification for special regimes such as Drawback, Reidi, Reporto, Reintegra, REDEX and Temporary Admission.
